Robert has over 25 years’ experience in environmental restoration and engineering, finance, and mitigation banking.  Before joining RestorCap, he was integrally involved in the development of an Natural Resource Damages bank on the Duwamish River in Seattle, Washington.

Robert has also helped finance and manage the risk of a variety of brownfield and related real estate and restoration projects.  He has helped with the transition of thousands of acres of impacted properties to beneficial use and has managed over $100 million in restoration projects.  Robert has a BS in Geology from UC Santa Cruz, an MS in Earth Sciences from UC Santa Barbara, and an MBA from St. Mary’s College.

Andrew has over 30 years’ experience in environmental law, corporate and real estate law, and ecological restoration.  He drafts and negotiates legal instruments associated with the creation and transaction of environmental credits.  He also manages individual projects, including the Linnton project in Portland.  

Andrew has a BS in Geological Engineering from the University of Nevada, as well as a law degree from Lewis and Clark Law School, with a Certificate in Environmental Law.  He has worked in the environmental and restoration field his entire career.  Among other experience, Andrew was environmental counsel for Louisiana Pacific Corporation and managed a 60-person environmental consulting firm. 

Mary has over 20 years’ experience in corporate financial planning and senior leadership roles. Prior to joining RestorCap, she founded a strategic advisory firm supporting private equity-backed companies during fundraising and liquidity events. Her financial insights have led to successful transactions valued at over $1B across her client portfolio.

Mary has a diverse background in multiple industries including environmental consulting, insurance, education, technology, and manufacturing. Mary has an MBA from IMD in Lausanne, Switzerland and a B.S. in Finance and B.A. in International Relations from University of Southern California. She is a Certified Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis Professional (FPAC).

Kate is a wildlife and wetland ecologist with extensive experience in the identification, conservation, and management of sensitive natural resources.  Her focus has been on rare wildlife species and wetland ecosystems in the western US, as well as commercial fisheries in Tanzania, marine ecology in Australia, and biological oceanography off the California and Hawaiian coasts.  Kate manages large-scale restoration, mitigation and development projects from start to finish, using her knowledge of the regulatory permitting landscape, ecology of protected natural resources, and project implementation strategies to develop creative and successful solutions to challenging environmental issues.

Kate holds a MS degree in Biology from the University of California at San Diego, where she also received a BS degree in Ecology, Behavior and Evolution.

Mary has more than 25 years of environmental consulting experience focused on investigation, remediation, and restoration of sites under various state and federal Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations and oversight.

Her areas of expertise include hydrogeology and geochemistry, environmental project management, environmental risk management, CERCLA/RCRA regulations, and brownfield redevelopment.

She has extensive experience with all aspects of site management, including  Phase I Assessments, site characterization and risk assessment, litigation support, liability estimation, responsible party negotiations, remediation, ecological restoration, and regulatory compliance.  

Mary has a BS in Geology from Stanford and an MS in Geology from UC Santa Barbara.

Michael is a Commercial Real Estate and Renewable Energy professional with 25 years of industry experience in management, technical sales, marketing and operations for enterprise customers, service providers and carriers. Michael is responsible for developing, managing, leasing and marketing programs to address business needs for a wide variety of verticals including large enterprise clients, data center operators, renewable energy providers, fiber network carriers, utility scale power generators, and wireless communication companies.

Michael has served as a senior advisor to a variety of fortune 500 companies as well as startups such as  Element Critical, Baidu Labs, PCCW, Zoox, Basic Solutions and other tech companies. Michael has bought and sold fiber networks, brokered over $100 million in technical real estate transactions and delivered customers to data centers selling well over 90 MWs. Other key positions included Director of Network Facilities for Level 3 Communications, VP of Business development for Kennedy-Wilson and VP of Site Acquisition for Wiline Networks. Michael was the founder of Crosslink Fiber and VVD Communications prior to its rebranding to Webpass.

Michael graduated UCLA and spends time between northern California and Austin, TX.

Tarmo has over thirty years of engineering and construction experience covering all facets of environmental and restoration projects . In his time as a senior construction management his experience encompassed preparation and management of project budgets and schedules, project safety and quality control, subcontractor selection and management, development of project procedures and overall field project oversight.

Tarmo has been responsible for bid development, scoring, and evaluation and has concurrently managed numerous multi-disciplinary teams. He has managed more than $100 million in construction contracts.

As a company executive Tarmo has been responsible for overall company performance, detailed planning of internal and external resources, contract review and development, and interface with clients and agencies to optimize capital cost and technical decisions.
